Jon Dumitru currently serves the City of Orange as a City Councilman which he has done since 2002. He was born and raised in the city and makes his home here with his wife, Gina.

Since being elected, Jon has served the City as the Mayor pro-tem as well as an active representative on a number of regional boards and commissions.  Jon believes strongly in protecting public safety, taxpayer protections, and property rights. In addition, Jon supports policies that support city businesses and growth.

A lifelong fiscal conservative, Jon has been given consistently high ratings by organizations and associations that monitor local elected officials and their voting records protecting taxpayers.

Councilman Dumitru is aggressively fighting on behalf of his fellow citizens to help lead the City of Orange through the instability of the current economic climate.  His goals for the upcoming fiscal year include:
