When issue and news hits that effects residents of Orange, the Councilman will post it here and on his Facebook page so you have a one stop shop for the information that effects you!
1. At a recent City Council Study Session it was proposed to install parking meters in the Old Towne area to generate revenue for the general fund. This is a horrible idea and will have a negative net effect on promoting businesses in Orange.
2. I recently requested the City Council of Orange to send a letter of support for Assembly Bill #2121, which would stop funding of the California High Speed Rail. This program is already estimated to be 43 Billion over budget and years behind schedule already. Also, it would require a large amount of land taken from property owners in Nortwest Orange for parking structures and infrastructure to support the rail system.
